Fonzie is a lab/shepard mix. We rescued him anticipating he had some issues from his previous life. We found Fonzie was very fearful of some strangers, especially children. Fonzie was very unpredictable with neices and nephews who had been over many times. He would nip at them but never really hurt anyone.
When Mark came into our lives he was able to give Fonzie the confidence to know he was safe and that the children would not hurt him. He was also able to teach Fonzie that his behavior was wrong. In addition and probably most importantly, Mark was able to teach my husband and I how to read Fonzie's behaviors to know whether he was exibiting fear or agression. Mark was sucessful in teaching us how to deal correct Fonzie's inappropriate behaviors which we can use moving forward. Fonzie, my husband and myself enjoyed working with Mark a great deal and welcome him into our home any time.?

Lilly is our aboslute beautiful German Shepard who does not really want anyone to ever come to our house to visit, Mark included. The first time Mark came to meet her she pretty much wanted to eat him because she is very territoral.
Mark was very patient and gave her the space she needed but taught us alot of new stuff to make her a nicer dog. We learned so many new tricks from him and how to be smarter then the dog which we were not before he came. People can actually come to our house now and yes she will bark but she will actually warm up to people now with the training we have had, and the commands we have learned. Mark thank you so much for the time you put into Lilly and the help you gave to make her a good girl. Anyone that uses Mark will be very happy with the outcome. Trust me!!?
When I first met Buddy he jumped all over me... pawing me... mauling me... nipping my hands and legs and arms (ow!). Buddy loves to jump - but is was keeping anyone from getting close to him, including me.
Mark Patrick, Tuxedo's K9 Dog Trainer, has effectively changed Buddy's behavior from "out-of-control" to a handsome, POLITE young dog who is a pleasure for anyone to meet and greet. If you tell Buddy to SIT - he SITS, WAIT - he WAITS, etc... He still trembles all over with excitement about your visit - but now he sits trembling, waiting for your greeting.
Mark is the most patient trainer I have ever seen in action. He is also CONSISTENT with his training - no matter how many times he has to repeat his instructions to Buddy, he does so in a calm and controlled manner. He goes the extra mile to insure that everyone involved with his canine client is aware of how THEY should behave and what they need to do, in order to help in the behavioral adjustment of his trainee. Mark is aware of every detail that may be hindering his client's progress - and always an advocate for his canine client's safety and best interests. Mark is truly your dog's best friend... because he enables your dog to bond with YOU.
Thank you, Mark, for enabling me to get closer to Buddy.

Walking Walter, my Great Pyrenees Flat Coat Retriever, was a challenge especially during the winter. He would constantly pull to the point where I dreaded our time together. In addition he would jump up and at 110 lbs ... well..
Since working with Mark Patrick, Tuxedo's K9 Dog Trainer - Now Walter is a pleasure to walk. He doesn't pull, he stays right at my side. He stops when I say stop and is as polite as can be. Last month we adopted a eight month Great Pyrenees pup, Catie. Being new to the family she was a little shy and although she walked pretty well on a lease we could never trust her off. With about six weeks of training once a week Catie sits, comes, waits, and you would think she's been with us as a young pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark.
